Based on the activated silica compound, a compound technology in the performance segment has been purposefully worked towards. The result of the Korbach research and development department, after intensive development work, produced a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country skiing properties. The new rubber compound, with the self-explanatory name “PureGrip”, follows the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively at the production plant in Hefei (Asia).
SafetyPro:
The new SafetyPro Breaker developed from nylon fabric. Woven textile fibers that are both robust and flexible. Maximum puncture protection with minimum additional weight. The risks of punctures caused by glass or sharp stones are greatly reduced.
